Hello all!!!!!

Regards from Mexico! Well not really to be honest with you, im just sitting in my living room with traditional english wallpaper and furniture, the only thing mexican about me is the sombrero (yes its spelt right, i checked in the dictionary :d lol, yes i know im sad so sshhhh) sitting upon my head. Heehe, i own a sombrero, okay slightly confusing, let me take you back to the beginning.

On the 18th august, 1886 a child was born, one with dark hair and blue eyes....well lets not go this far back.

On the 19th august, 2005 (yes i know this isnt the right date, duh) a girl celebrated her 19th birthday with her family (yes all 12 of us) at a mexican/spanish/whatever cuisine restaurant in the city of sheffield (south yorks). To start the evening off her eldest cousin bought her a sneaky sambouka (sp?) which she of course told her mother about lol, being the good girl she was (basically she was just in a good mood and didnt like lying to her mum, sad i know lol). When her other two cousins arrived with her boyfriends, the reminiscing over glasses of wine started to begin (i only bought two but i ended up with 3, explain that!) until the fatal moment that the waiter came over. In one hand he carried another sambouka, and in the other a sombrero hat. He then made the girl (this is me, just incase you had not got it yet lol) stand on her chair with the sombrero on her head while the whole table sung happy birthday to her....infront of the whole restaurant...and then he lit the sambouka and made the girl down it (was very embarressing, i covered my face frequently and was quite worried about falling off the chair). Later the eldest cousins's boyfriend bought the girl yet another sambouka to down (total of 3, grrr) while all the cousins complained that being 19 made them feel old (they are only in their 20's *rolls eyes*).

So as a conclusion, it was;
good food
good company
good waiters
good sambrero hat
evil shots of alcohol lol

I would like to thank my mum for arranging this night, and the day before where i went to the spa. That was an amazing day, i had a mud wrap where i was scrubbed down with salt first, then i showered, then i was applied in mud (we reckon that they got it from st micheals mount as it was called mont st michel) and wrapped up in a plastic sheet, it was like i was a modern day mummy (the scary dead type, not the mother type) lol. This was inbetween a spa experience, which consisted of steam rooms, the ice cave, a sauna and the plunge pool (was bloody cold), as well as two relaxation rooms and complimentary drinks, oooooh i shall be going again.

I would also like to thank everyone else who sent me birthday cards and birthday texts, thanks guys. Although, im not too sure what the postman will think of me after claire sent a card addressed to:

Im sure he probably delivered it, and then ran away in fright, lol. But cheers anyway.

For my birthday i got a digital camera, although i said that the spa experience was my birthday present and i dont need the camera, lol, it was a really nice prezzie. I also got a nurses watch, some slippers (dont diss, they are comfy and i needed them lol), a cuddly pig toy thing, some cds and some money, so a really good turnout. It was more than i was expecting so that was great.

So the next thing im doing is going out for my birthday with friends, were going to a really nice indian restaurant in town, ill take some pics of that and try out my new software to put them on the net lol.

Weird, typing has actually made me feel less tipsy, remind me not to have sambouka again.
